About Juniors and Child Care Foundation (JACCAFO)

Juniors and Child Care Foundation (JACCAFO) is a registered Tanzanian non-governmental organization dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children, youth, and persons with disabilities through inclusion, empowerment, protection, and sustainable community development.

Based in the Simiyu Region of Tanzania, JACCAFO works with marginalized communities to address barriers affecting access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion. Through community-based programs and strategic partnerships, JACCAFO supports individuals and families to build resilience, achieve self-reliance, and create sustainable futures.

Key Program Areas

•Disability Inclusion: JACCAFO promotes the rights, dignity, and participation of persons with disabilities by advancing social inclusion, supporting caregivers, raising community awareness, and creating opportunities that enable persons with disabilities to live independent and meaningful lives.

•Youth Economic Empowerment and Digital Skills Development: The Organization empowers young people with practical skills, entrepreneurship knowledge, and livelihood opportunities through initiatives including poultry farming, soap and shampoo production, vocational training, digital skills development, and small-scale agribusiness. These programs support youth to create sustainable income opportunities and reduce economic dependency.

•Education and Child Welfare: JACCAFO promotes inclusive and quality education while strengthening child protection, health, nutrition, and safe learning environments. Through mentorship, sports, and community engagement, the foundation supports children’s confidence, life skills, and protection from violence, discrimination, and bullying.

•Climate Change Resilience and Environmental Action: The Organization works with communities to address climate challenges through environmental conservation, climate change education, tree planting, sustainable practices, and community-led solutions that strengthen resilience and protect natural resources.

A society where children, youth, children at risk, and persons with disabilities are empowered, included, and provided with equal opportunities to reach their full potential and contribute to sustainable community development.
